Saudi Arabia

The foundation of the city was laid when the Prophet Ismail (pbuh) found the water source Zam zam. Later, he and Propeht Ibrahim (pbut), built the Ka'ba - the House of God. The city became center for prayers and pilgrimage.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was invited to Madinah to unite two tribes. He came with about 300 Muslims. During the next 10 years, until his (pbuh) death, most of the arabian peninsula had accepted him as the Prophet of God.
